Part-Time Teller/Member Service Representative
First New FCU is seeking an entry-level, part-time candidate for a Teller/Member Service Representative position in our Saratoga Branch. We are looking for an individual with great communication and customer service skills. A Teller is expected to efficiently and accurately process financial transactions with minimum to no error. Duties include cross-selling products, services and promoting e-banking to benefit member needs. Duties may include opening new memberships, referring loans to Loan Sales team and providing credit union services to members in a branch environment. Candidate must demonstrate a highly motivated, positive, outgoing personality to ensure an unsurpassed level of member service to meet and exceed expectations with every interaction. Recent background must include cash handling experience. Schedule requires half day on Saturday.  We offer competitive starting rates based on experience. Position includes benefits.  Training Provided.

Part-Time Teller - Glenville
First New FCU is a seeking entry-level, part-time candidate for a Teller position in the Glenville branch. We offer competitive starting rates based on experience. Duties include cross-selling products and services.  Tellers are expected to provide quality member service to credit union members. Recent background must include cash handling experience.

Assistant Branch Manager - Saratoga
This is a great opportunity for a qualified candidate who will assist the Branch Manager in guiding staff in all aspects of the branch experience, including achievement of branch goals, operations, and delivery of unsurpassed, quality member service. Skills to motivate team members are expected. Candidate will be expected to ensure a smooth working relationship with other departments in the credit union. Must have ability to maximize opportunities to increase membership, refer loans and promote e-services. Must have strong leadership, sales, and communication skills. Assists the Branch Manager in attaining all goals related to Community Outreach activities. Will be required to maintain Notary Public, NMLS designation and Signature Guarantee services. Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. Previous experience in a credit union or financial institution supervisory capacity required.

Member Service Specialist
First New York FCU is seeking a candidate for a Member Service Specialist (MSS) position in our Call Center located in Colonie.  Previous financial branch experience in a credit union/bank is required. Candidate provides credit union services to members via telephone, internet, and mail. This is a full-time position for an individual with outstanding customer service, writing and communication skills. Job responsibilities would include account servicing, referring consumer and real estate loans to the Loan Sales team, cross-selling products/services to benefit the member’s needs, promoting e-banking and meeting Call Center goals. Candidate will also perform teller duties as needed to ensure an unsurpassed level of service is provided to members. Must demonstrate a highly motivated, positive, outgoing personality to meet and exceed expectations with every interaction.

Project Manager
The Project Manager will assist in the planning, implementation and tracking of specific short-term projects with a beginning, end and specified deliverables.  Will perform a wide range of duties coordinating internal and external resources for implementations, alterations or maintenance processes for systems and services.  Will act as a liaison with vendors on projects. The Project Manager will define project scope, create detailed work plans and maintain project schedules.  A Computer Science or Business Management degree required with experience in project management.  Must have strong organizational and analytical skills.

Core System Assistant
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the setup, implementation, design, and maintenance of the organization’s main and secondary computer processing systems. Forms design within multiple platforms. Programming skills including Java, xml, html, .net adobe forms design are preferred.  Must have a complete understanding of database structures and relationships. Act as a primary resource for staff in providing support in areas related to technology and electronic services. The incumbent must have excellent organization skills, good attention to details, an ability to follow written instructions and documentation, and good problem-solving ability.  Credit Union or other financial institution experience preferred. Familiarity with or an ability to learn all credit union savings and loan policies, credit union procedures and all credit union services.
