Network and Security Technician
First New York FCU is seeking a Network and Security Technician who will provide support of the network infrastructure and endpoints. The candidate will also provide maintenance and security certification for 100+ workstations.  Candidate should be knowledgeable in network design, operation and maintenance. Thorough knowledge of security concepts, design and risk mitigation is required. A minimum of 2-year degree in networking or equivalent experience is desired. Reports directly to the Network and Security Administrator.

Core System Project Coordinator
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the setup, implementation, design, and maintenance of the organization’s main and secondary computer processing systems. Primary responsibility is for the core system’s document integration.  Programming skills preferred include Java, xml, html, .net adobe forms design.  Must have a complete understanding of database structures and relationships.  Minimum of an Associate’s degree in computer technology and/or 3 years of related experience.
Will assist Core System Supervisor with monitoring system resources, bulletins and critical communications. Duties will include assisting with system backups, maintenance schedules, release loading, coordinating and testing application installs, supporting staff with research, problem resolution and project implementation.  Assistance with the development and creation of report writer programs and reports as requested will be expected.
The incumbent must have excellent organization skills, good attention to details, an ability to follow written instructions and documentation, and good problem-solving ability. Familiarity with or an ability to learn all credit union procedures and credit union services required.

Branch Manager
This is a great career opportunity for a qualified candidate who will be responsible for guiding staff in all aspects of the branch experience, including achievement of branch goals, overseeing all aspects of daily branch operations and delivery of unsurpassed, quality member service.  Must have strong leadership, sales and communication skills.  Will be required to maintain Notary Public, NMLS designation and Signature Guarantee services.  Referrals of loans to Loan Sales Team is expected.  Must assure proper control of cash handling and accountability in accordance to regulations and procedures.  Branch Manager is expected to support the branch team and manage the relationship building activities with credit union members. Branch Manager is expected to be involved in Community Outreach activities to attain credit union goals.  This will include weekly sales calls, promoting credit union membership growth with current and potential member groups and attending local community events. Minimum 5 years financial institution branch experience and a 4-year college degree or equivalent educational or work experience a must.   Three years of direct supervisory experience required.

Floating Teller
First New York FCU is seeking an entry-level, full time candidate for a Teller position. We offer a competitive starting rate. Position includes benefits.  Schedule requires half day on Saturday.  We are looking for individuals with exceptional communication and customer service skills. A Teller is expected to efficiently and accurately process financial transactions with minimum to no error. Duties include cross-selling products and services.  Tellers are expected to provide quality member service to credit union members. Recent work experience must include cash handling. Paid training is provided. Floating Teller will be expected to travel to seven branch locations assisting with staffing needs on the teller lines.

Facilities Manager
A local financial institution, seeks a Facilities Manager to oversee the physical care of its headquarters and branch locations.  Must possess working knowledge of electrical, plumbing and carpentry trade skills with at least 3 years experience in the building trade.  Candidate must have strong organizational, negotiating and time management skills. This individual will be required to have familiarity with building codes and enforcement. Responsibilities will include focusing on day-to-day operations in relation to buildings and premises, negotiating and maintaining contracts for facilities and grounds care, as well as, coordinating janitorial services and purchasing for facilities. Candidate will coordinate the physical security of all facilities.  Responsible for card access system and security systems.  Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.

Member Service Specialist - Call Center, Colonie
First New York FCU is seeking a candidate for a Member Service Specialist (MSS) position in our Call Center located in Colonie.  Previous financial branch experience in a credit union/bank is required. Candidate provides credit union services to members via telephone, internet, and mail. This is a full-time position for an individual with outstanding customer service, writing and communication skills. Job responsibilities would include account servicing, referring consumer and real estate loans to the Loan Sales team, cross-selling products/services to benefit the member’s needs, promoting e-banking and meeting Call Center goals. Candidate will also perform teller duties as needed to ensure an unsurpassed level of service is provided to members. Must demonstrate a highly motivated, positive, outgoing personality to meet and exceed expectations with every interaction.

Assistant Branch Manager
This is a great opportunity for a qualified candidate who will assist the Branch Manager in guiding staff in all aspects of the branch experience, including achievement of branch goals, operations, and delivery of unsurpassed, quality member service. Skills to motivate team members are expected. Candidate will be expected to ensure a smooth working relationship with other departments in the credit union. Must have ability to maximize opportunities to increase membership, refer loans and promote e-services. Must have strong leadership, sales, and communication skills.  Assists the Branch Manager in attaining all goals related to Community Outreach activities. Will be required to maintain Notary Public, NMLS designation and Signature Guarantee services. Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. Previous experience in a credit union or financial institution supervisory capacity required.
