First New York FCU is seeking entry-level, full time candidate for a Teller position. We offer a competitive starting rate. Position includes benefits. Schedule requires half day on Saturday. We are looking for individuals with exceptional communication and customer service skills. A Teller is expected to efficiently and accurately process financial transactions with minimum to no error. Duties include cross-selling products and services. Tellers are expected to provide quality member service to credit union members. Recent work experience must include cash handling. Paid training is provided. Floating Teller will be expected to travel to seven branch locations assisting with staffing needs on the teller lines.
Part-Time Teller/Member Service Representative
First New FCU is seeking an entry-level, part-time candidate for a Teller/Member Service Representative position in our Saratoga Branch. We are looking for an individual with great communication and customer service skills. A Teller is expected to efficiently and accurately process financial transactions with minimum to no error. Duties include cross-selling products, services and promoting e-banking to benefit member needs.
Duties may include opening new memberships, referring loans to Loan Sales team and providing credit union services to members in a branch environment.
Candidate must demonstrate a highly motivated, positive, outgoing personality to ensure an unsurpassed level of member service to meet and exceed expectations with every interaction.

Support Services Supervisor
Seeking a responsible individual to assist in the Support Services back-office function of a credit union. Will assist in supervising and training personnel in Operations Department. Position entails assuring compliance with rules and regulations related to back-office operations and assisting with the development and implementation of new processes and procedures. Responsible for Member Database Management, Fee Income Analysis, Loss Prevention, Statistical Reporting for Share Draft Transactions, Wire Transfers, ACH, VISA Cards and Payroll processing. Will support the Visa Credit/Debit Card program, as well as BSA and OFAC Compliance in areas of CTR Reporting and suspicious activity. Will be involved in assisting with Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery Testing. Background in Electronic Data Processing, analytical skills and experience in a credit union/bank required. Must possess an Associate Degree in relationship to the position or equivalent work experience.
