Business Lending-Secondary Market Loan Servicer
First New York Federal Credit Union is seeking a candidate with lending background to include experience in servicing of residential mortgages sold to the secondary market and the processing of business loans.  Will be responsible for assisting in the mortgage servicing area to include loan set-up, payment processing, escrow disbursements, rate changes and member service.  Duties will include verifying, compiling and assembling loan file for underwriting and closing.  Candidate will assist with processing new loan applications, ordering credit reports, appraisals, flood certifications and title insurance.  Coordination of loan closings and post-closing documentation follow up is required. Candidate must have acute attention to detail, proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel and good communication skills.  Should be a self-motivator who has initiative and ability to work independently and in a team environment.  A minimum of 3 years’ experience in secondary market mortgage servicing and processing is required.

Part-Time Tellers - Glenville, Niskayuna, Cobleskill
First New FCU is seeking entry-level, candidates for part-time Teller positions. We offer competitive starting rates based on experience. Position includes benefits.  Schedule requires half day on Saturday.  We are looking for individuals with great communication and customer service skills. A Teller is expected to efficiently and accurately process financial transactions with minimum to no error. Duties include cross-selling products and services.  Tellers are expected to provide quality member service to credit union members. Recent background must include cash handling experience.

Administrative Assistant - Financial Services
First New York FCU is seeking a candidate for a professional position in our Financial Services Program. Candidate will promote the program to credit union members.  Will participate in target marketing and generating enthusiasm with credit union staff through internal promotions. Will support the Financial Services representative in all administrative capacities to include maintaining a database, processing required paperwork, assisting with compliance and regulations, scheduling and confirming appointments and managing clients’ accounts.  Will organize and promote financial services seminars. Provides reliable, confidential support.  Exceptional communication skills with members, clients and representative is essential.
Previous experience in a business office setting required.  Knowledge and/or prior experience with a brokerage or financial services a definite plus.  Position requires candidate to have the ability to learn new computer applications.  Use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint will be required for this position.

Member Service Specialist
First New York FCU is seeking a candidate for a Member Service Specialist (MSS) position in our Call Center located in Colonie.  Previous financial branch experience in a credit union/bank is required. Candidate provides credit union services to members via telephone, internet, and mail. This is a full-time position for an individual with outstanding customer service, writing and communication skills. Job responsibilities would include account servicing, referring consumer and real estate loans to the Loan Sales team, cross-selling products/services to benefit the member’s needs, promoting e-banking and meeting Call Center goals. Candidate will also perform teller duties as needed to ensure an unsurpassed level of service is provided to members. Must demonstrate a highly motivated, positive, outgoing personality to meet and exceed expectations with every interaction.

Core System Assistant
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the setup, implementation, design, and maintenance of the organization’s main and secondary computer processing systems. Forms design within multiple platforms. Programming skills including Java, xml, html, .net adobe forms design are preferred.  Must have a complete understanding of database structures and relationships. Act as a primary resource for staff in providing support in areas related to technology and electronic services. The incumbent must have excellent organization skills, good attention to details, an ability to follow written instructions and documentation, and good problem-solving ability.  Credit Union or other financial institution experience preferred. Familiarity with or an ability to learn all credit union savings and loan policies, credit union procedures and all credit union services.
