Part Time Teller
First New FCU is seeking entry-level, part-time candidate for a Teller position. We offer competitive starting rates based on experience. Position includes benefits. Schedule requires half day on Saturday. We are looking for individuals with great communication and customer service skills. A Teller is expected to efficiently and accurately process financial transactions with minimum to no error. Duties include cross-selling products and services. Tellers are expected to provide quality member service to credit union members. Recent background must include cash handling experience.
HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT
Human Resources Specialist
This position provides reliable, confidential support and clerical assistance in the Human Resources Department. Directly involved with payroll and the support of benefit administration. Assists with paperwork during hiring and termination process. Assists employees and explains all benefit programs offered. Must be familiar with personnel policies. Supports the Affirmative Action plan. Assists in compliance in all HR related matters. Maintains proper record keeping and filing. We are looking for an individual with good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Position requires candidate to have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access. Previous experience in Human Resources and a business office setting required. Payroll and benefit administration experience a definite plus.
Consumer Loan Processor
First New York FCU is seeking a Consumer Loan Processor. The position will require building and maintaining successful member relationships by funding and processing loans to the member’s complete satisfaction, while simultaneously ensuring that supporting documentation and records are accurately prepared according to credit union policies. Will work closely with the Loan Sales Expert and Underwriter to determine what information is outstanding and initiates follow up. This includes but is not limited to gathering insurance binders, vehicle titles and income verification. Coordinates the disbursal of loans. Reviews and prepares various loan reports. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to excel in a fast paced environment and meet goals and deadlines. Must have strong organizational and communication skills. Professionalism is expected along with the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Computer skills must include Excel and Microsoft Word. 1-2 years of similar or related experience in Loan Processing/Servicing required.
